For 75 years, Lakeside Baptist Church has been faithfully preaching the Word of God and ministering to Lakeville and the surrounding areas.  Although the look of our building has changed over that time, our committment and focus remains the same, to bring Glory to Jesus Christ.

Our Focus

Jesus Christ tells us that His focus, what drove Him, was ‘to seek and to save that which was lost.’  This was His entire purpose for coming to Earth.

We believe that our purpose on Earth should model that of our Lord. Our goal at Lakeside is to spread the Gospel. We are commanded by scripture to go into the highways and the hedges, and that is what we do.

From the Sunday School to the Bus Routes, our goal is to win the lost.

Our Ministries

The focus of our church is carried out through our ministries. Our outreach ministries strive to carry the Gospel to those who would otherwise not be at church, while church ministries are in place to help believers grow in their Christian faith.

Our Vision

Our stance has always been that we are content with where God has led us thus far. When we look back on how God has provided needs, show miracles, and given direction, we cannot help but be gratefiul to Him.

As any growing church, we are planning for the future.  Preparation is always being made for whatever God will have us accomplish next.
